Seconda Stella a Destra represents the most selective expression of La Togata’s Brunello di Montalcino production. It is produced in only about 3,000 bottles and exclusively in the best vintages, following an uncompromising selection of Sangiovese grapes in both vineyard and cellar.

The grapes are sourced from carefully selected vineyard parcels in Montalcino, where low yields and manual work allow the vines to express depth and balance. Vinification is slow and traditional, aimed at extracting structure and complexity while preserving elegance. Aging takes place over several years, combining large Slavonian oak casks with smaller barrels, followed by extended bottle refinement.

In the glass, this Brunello shows depth, intensity, and precision. Aromas of red fruit and cherry lead the nose, while the palate is powerful and structured, supported by firm tannins and a long, persistent finish. Built for time, it is a wine capable of aging gracefully and rewarding patience.

Produced in very limited quantities, Seconda Stella a Destra reflects La Togata’s commitment to craftsmanship, discipline, and respect for the rhythm of the vineyard.

Vinification:
