Rigomale Bianco 2024 is an unconventional white wine from Alta Maremma, Tuscany, made from Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano. It combines two different vinification paths: Trebbiano macerated on the skins in terracotta amphora and Malvasia vinified in stainless steel without maceration. The result is a dynamic, textured and vibrant white wine with freshness, structure and a lively natural character.

Harvest:

Grapes are harvested from vineyard parcels in Alta Maremma, in the hills around Roccatederighi and Sassofortino, where old vines grow among woods, Mediterranean scrub and varied soils.

Vinification:

Vinification Trebbiano ferments separately in terracotta amphora with a long skin maceration, while Malvasia Bianca is directly pressed and vinified in stainless steel without maceration; the wine then ages for a few months in amphora. Ageing Aged for a few months in terracotta amphora.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh and textured, with notes of citrus, yellow apple, wild herbs and a light mineral touch, balanced by vibrant acidity and a gently savoury finish.

I Forestieri

Alta Maremma - Toscana

I Forestieri is a small natural wine project born in Roccatederighi, in the hills of Alta Maremma, from the meeting of Dario, originally from Pisa, and Ezequiel, born in Argentina. Their work began with the recovery of old vineyard parcels around Sassofortino and Roccatederighi, many of them 70 to 80 years old and at risk of being abandoned. Today they cultivate almost 5 hectares of scattered vineyards, set between 200 and 600 metres above sea level, in a landscape of woods, Mediterranean scrub and highly varied soils. Their approach is based on respectful farming, biodiversity, indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention in the cellar, with the aim of preserving these old vineyard “gardens” and expressing the authentic character of this corner of Maremma.
