Castello Tricerchi Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is a traditional expression of Sangiovese Grosso from the cooler northern slopes of Montalcino. Produced from vineyards around 290 meters above sea level, the wine reflects elegance, freshness and structure shaped by limestone-clay soils and significant day–night temperature shifts. Long maceration and aging in large Slavonian oak casks highlight purity, balance and the classic character of Brunello.

Hand-harvested between late September and early October from Sangiovese Grosso vineyards averaging over 25 years of age, with careful selection of the grapes before vinification.

Vinification:

Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by about 30 days of maceration at controlled temperature. Aged for at least 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks and refined in bottle for a minimum of 8 months to preserve traditional Brunello structure and elegance.

Tasting Notes:

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromas of ripe cherry, blood orange and sweet spices unfold alongside subtle earthy tones. The palate is structured yet refined, with enveloping tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, persistent mineral finish.
