Vernaccia is one of Tuscany’s historic native white grape varieties, best known for Vernaccia di San Gimignano. It typically produces fresh, dry wines with citrus, white flowers, apple and almond notes, often showing lively acidity, a mineral character and a slightly savoury finish.
