Tumà Primitivo Salento IGP 2025 by Masseria Cuturi comes from Manduria, in southern Puglia, close to the Ionian Sea. Made entirely from organically grown Primitivo, it reflects a landscape of vineyards, ancient olive trees and Mediterranean woodland. Its name honours Don Tommaso Schiavoni, whose planting of Primitivo at Cuturi in 1881 forms part of the estate’s history.
Vinified and matured in stainless steel, Tumà preserves the grape’s generous fruit and approachable character. Ripe berries and cherry mingle with Mediterranean herbs, gentle spice and hints of liquorice.
The palate is rounded and juicy, with supple tannins and a fresh, savoury finish. A versatile red for the table, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta with rich sauces, cured meats and cheeses.
