Riecine Chianti Classico is a precise expression of high-altitude Sangiovese from Gaiole in Chianti, produced by one of the historic estates that helped shape the modern identity of the denomination. Founded in 1971, the winery follows an organic, minimal-intervention philosophy focused on purity and terroir transparency. Fermented mainly in cement and aged in neutral vessels, the wine highlights freshness, structure and the elegant tension typical of Chianti Classico.

Harvest:

Manual harvest takes place between September and October, with double selection both in the vineyard and on a vibrating sorting table to ensure only the best fruit is used.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested grapes undergo whole-berry fermentation in unglazed Nomblot cement vats, followed by a maceration of about 15–20 days. The wine ages for 11 months in used French oak tonneaux and an additional 3 months in bottle to preserve purity and balance.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh and precise in style, with lifted aromas of red cherry, wild berries and subtle floral tones. The palate is vibrant and elegant, driven by fine acidity, silky tannins and a mineral backbone typical of high-altitude Sangiovese, finishing clean and energetic.
