Pinot Nero Toscana Rosso IGT 2021 by Frascole comes from the hills around Dicomano, northeast of Florence, where Mugello meets Valdisieve. Made from organically grown Pinot Nero, it offers a fresh, elegant expression of this distinctive corner of Tuscany.

Spontaneous fermentation and ageing in concrete and barriques shape a wine with delicate red-fruit aromas, floral nuances and subtle spice. Its lively freshness and fine tannins make it a versatile companion to roast poultry, pork and mushroom dishes.

Tasting Notes:

Ruby red. Aromas of cherry and raspberry mingle with violet and subtle spice. The palate is dry and fresh, with a medium body, fine tannins and a balanced, gently lingering finish.

Frascole is a historic estate located in the hills near Dicomano, between the Mugello and Valdisieve valleys in Tuscany. Archaeological evidence suggests that vines were already cultivated in this area during the Etruscan period.

Since 1992 the Lippi and Santoni families have managed the estate directly, producing wine and olive oil with a strong commitment to environmental respect and traditional farming. The vineyards are cultivated organically, with certification since 1999.

Located between 300 and 500 meters above sea level, the estate produces wines that reflect the freshness and character of high-altitude Chianti Rufina terroir.
