Corte Majoli Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore D.O.C. is an organic red wine from Valpantena, near Verona, made from Corvina and Rondinella. After the first fermentation, the wine is refermented on the pomace left from Amarone production — the traditional Ripasso method — giving it greater depth, structure and complexity while preserving freshness. It is then aged for 18 months in the winery.
Bright ruby red in colour, it offers aromas of ripe blackberry, cloves, tobacco and liquorice. On the palate it is flavourful, soft and fresh, with a balanced structure and an inviting, generous character. It pairs particularly well with roasts, boiled meats and game, as well as the traditional Veronese dish Lesso con pearà.
