Langhe Nebbiolo 2023 by Rivetto is a vibrant red wine produced in the hills of the Langhe in Piedmont, near the historic Barolo zone. Made primarily from Nebbiolo grown in vineyards around Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba, the wine reflects the elegance and aromatic character typical of this renowned grape variety.

Harvest:

Manual harvest of Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes at the end of September and beginning of October from vineyards in Sinio, in the Langhe hills.

Vinification:

Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in oak casks before bottling to preserve the varietal purity and structure of the Nebbiolo.

Tasting Notes:

The nose reveals aromas of red berries, raspberry and wild strawberry, followed by delicate floral notes of violet and subtle hints of spice. On the palate the wine is elegant and balanced, with lively acidity, fine tannins and a fresh, persistent finish.

Rivetto is a historic winery in the Langhe founded in 1902 and today led by Enrico Rivetto, representing the fourth generation of the family. The estate is located in Lirano, between Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba, in one of the most prestigious areas of Piedmont wine production.

The vineyards are cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles, with a strong focus on biodiversity and the preservation of the natural ecosystem.
