Friulano La Duline Vignai da Duline – 2024 is a distinctive expression of Tocai Friulano from the Colli Orientali del Friuli, crafted by Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini with a deeply artisanal and organic approach. Sourced from historic vineyards — some up to a century old — the wine reflects the estate’s philosophy of biodiversity, minimal intervention and respect for the natural balance of the vine.

Hand-harvested grapes undergo whole-cluster pressing followed by ageing on fine lees for about 11 months in small wooden vats and barrels. The result is a Friulano of remarkable personality: full, savoury and intensely mineral, defined by depth, texture and the unmistakable salinity that characterizes the wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Hand-harvested Tocai Friulano (verde 70%, giallo 30%) from historic vineyards around 100 years old in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Whole-cluster pressing followed by natural settling preserves purity and the distinctive savoury character of this traditional Friulano expression.

Vinification:

Whole-cluster pressing with natural decantation. Malolactic fermentation completed. Aged 11 months on fine lees in 12-hl vats and 250-lt oak barrels to enhance texture, complexity and saline freshness.

Tasting Notes:

Rich and characterful, with layered aromas and a pronounced savoury profile. Full-bodied and vibrant on the palate, showing depth, texture and marked salinity, with a long, persistent finish typical of old-vine Friulano.

Vignai da Duline is a small artisanal estate in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, led by Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini.
