Carleone Chianti Classico is a pure expression of Radda in Chianti, crafted from 100% Sangiovese grown on high-altitude galestro soils. Guided by a philosophy of transparency and place, the wine captures the vibrant identity of this historic terroir with freshness, elegance and remarkable drinkability. Fermented in steel, cement and open-top vats, it reflects a contemporary yet deeply territorial vision — an authentic interpretation of Chianti Classico shaped by precision and respect for tradition.

Harvest:

Hand-harvested from selected high-elevation parcels around Radda in Chianti. Careful vineyard work and balanced ripening preserved natural acidity and freshness, defining the energetic character of the 2023 vintage.

Vinification:

Fermentation in stainless steel, cement and open bins with indigenous yeasts. Long maceration of 40–60 days allows gentle extraction and preserves aromatic clarity. Ageing continues for around 18 months in stainless steel and cement, maintaining purity of fruit and mineral tension without oak influence.

Tasting Notes:

Bright ruby red. Aromas of wild cherry, red currant and dried herbs with floral nuances and a clear mineral edge. The palate is linear and vibrant, with fine tannins, lively acidity and a savoury, precise finish. Elegant, transparent and highly drinkable, yet structured for ageing.
