Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG 2021 by Cavallotto is made from Nebbiolo grown in the historic MGA Bricco Boschis vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, one of the classic crus of Barolo in the Langhe.
The grapes come from parcels including Colle Sud Ovest, Punta Marcello and San Giuseppe, located between 230 and 350 meters above sea level on calcareous marl soils typical of the Barolo hills. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts and extended maceration using the traditional submerged-cap method. The wine then ages for about three to three and a half years in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by additional bottle refinement.
The result is a powerful yet refined expression of Barolo — structured and complex, with aromas of rose, red fruit and spice supported by elegant tannins and remarkable aging potential.
