Pinot Nero 2020 by Bressan is produced in the hills of Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy from carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes cultivated in the vineyards of Corona and Farra d’Isonzo in the province of Gorizia.

The vineyards grow on skeletal soils rich in iron oxides with low organic matter, conditions that naturally limit vine vigor and produce concentrated grapes. Harvest is carried out manually with slightly overripe grapes to enhance aromatic complexity.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and a long maceration on the skins lasting about 30 days. The wine then ages in large 2000-liter oak casks for several years, allowing it to develop complexity and depth before bottling without filtration.

The result is a powerful and expressive Pinot Noir — elegant yet intense, with aromas of forest floor, spices, wild berries, truffle and subtle smoky notes.
