Estate-made extra virgin olive oil from the hills of Lucca. Tenuta Forci farms about 16 hectares of olive groves with roughly 3,000 trees, many of them old Frantoio, with Leccino and Moraiolo completing the blend. No synthetic chemicals are used in the groves; the only protection is kaolin clay, a natural barrier against the olive fruit fly.
Olives are hand-harvested and milled on site within hours in the estate’s own frantoio. Cold extraction preserves aroma and freshness, delivering a medium to intense fruity profile.
Taste
Fragrant on the nose with green, herbal notes. Clean and vibrant on the palate, with balanced bitterness and a gentle, slightly peppery finish.
Pairing ideas
Bruschetta, grilled vegetables, ribollita, fresh mozzarella or burrata, seafood, simple salads, and for finishing steaks and roasts.
