Maso Bergamini
Maso Bergamini is a family winery in the hills above Trento, based in a historic seventeenth-century villa near Cognola. Remo Tomasi and his wife Laura settled here in 1986, developing the estate’s wine production and later welcoming their son Damiano into the family business.
The vineyards lie around 500–600 metres above sea level, on terraces shaped by volcanic and basaltic soils. This hillside setting is central to the estate’s identity and its wines, from Pinot Nero and Lagrein to Riesling and traditional-method sparkling wines.
Among Trentino’s early adopters of organic farming, Maso Bergamini has been certified organic since 1999. Careful vineyard work and spontaneous fermentations guide an approach focused on preserving the character of the estate’s grapes and their place of origin.
