Eduardo Torres Acosta
Eduardo Torres Acosta is an independent winemaker on Mount Etna, originally from Tenerife in the Canary Islands. After early experiences with producers such as Arianna Occhipinti and Passopisciaro, he settled on the north slope of Etna, where high-altitude vineyards between roughly 550 and 800 metres shape the character of his wines.
Working mainly with old alberello vines across historic contrade such as Pirrera, Arenaria and Quota N, Eduardo follows a minimal-intervention philosophy focused on spontaneous fermentations and respect for volcanic terroir. With a small annual production of around 25,000 bottles, his wines express the raw energy, altitude and precision that define Etna’s most authentic expressions.
