Daniele Ricci
Daniele Ricci is an independent winemaker based in Costa Vescovato in the Colli Tortonesi, an area of southeastern Piedmont known today for the revival of the Timorasso grape. The family estate, Cascina San Leto, was founded in 1929 and is now run by Daniele together with his son Mattia, representing the fourth generation.
The vineyards are farmed organically and cultivated with deep respect for the natural rhythms of the land. In the cellar Ricci follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, using indigenous yeasts, long macerations and careful aging to express the full character of the territory.
His wines are known for their individuality, complexity and remarkable aging potential, offering a distinctive interpretation of Timorasso and the Colli Tortonesi.
