Barbaresco

Produced in the hills surrounding the village of Barbaresco in Piedmont, Barbaresco DOCG is one of Italy's most celebrated and prestigious red wines. Like its neighbor Barolo, it is crafted exclusively from Nebbiolo — but Barbaresco tends to express a more refined, feminine and approachable character, with elegant floral aromas of rose and violet, notes of cherry, tar and spice, and a silky texture that develops beautifully with age.
