Azienda Franchino
Founded in 1940 in Gattinara in the heart of Alto Piemonte, Azienda Franchino has cultivated Nebbiolo on volcanic soils rich in iron and porphyry for four generations. Following a traditional philosophy of cement fermentation and long aging in large oak casks, the winery produces wines that faithfully express the austere, elegant character that defines classic Gattinara. Today the third generation continues to modernize the vineyards while preserving the historical identity and authenticity of one of Northern Piedmont's most distinguished appellations.
