Azienda Agricola Skerk

Skerk is a small artisanal winery in Prepotto, near Duino Aurisina, on the Carso Triestino plateau of Friuli Venezia Giulia, close to the Slovenian border and the Adriatic Sea. The estate works with native and traditional varieties such as Malvasia, Vitovska and Terrano, expressing the unique identity of the Karst landscape. The vineyards grow in a dramatic environment of limestone rock, red iron-rich soils, dry-stone walls, sea breezes and the Bora wind. With careful farming, traditional maceration and a strong focus on territorial identity, Skerk produces wines of depth, minerality, freshness and unmistakable character.
