This Organic Amarone della Valpolicella D.O.C.G. 2020 from Azienda Agricola Tezza in Verona is crafted from Corvina and Rondinella grapes grown in the sun-kissed Valpantena Valley.

Deep ruby in color, it opens with rich aromas of cherry jam, vanilla, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it is warm and velvety, with an elegant structure, soft texture, and beautifully integrated tannins.

A wine of remarkable depth and balance, it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses.

The harvest takes place in September and October.

Vinification:

The process begins with appassimento, where the grapes undergo drying in a fruit drying facility with controlled low temperature and humidity. Next, vinification takes place through destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by inoculation with selected yeasts. Fermentation occurs with maceration in stainless steel tanks, accompanied by daily pump-overs. Finally, the wine matures for 60 months in our own cellar.

ORGANOLECTIC CHARACTERISTICS. Deep ruby color, with aromas of cherry jam, vanilla, licorice, and tobacco on the nose. Warm, soft, and intensely tannic on the palate.
