Mongarda
Mongarda is based in Col San Martino, in the historic hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene — along what became Italy’s first officially recognized “Strada del Vino”.
The winery is housed in an old village home, gradually transformed over the years into a working cellar. Thick stone walls and wooden ceilings surround cement and stainless-steel tanks where the wines rest. Production remains strictly tied to the vineyards: each wine is born from a precise parcel, chosen for its exposure, soil and character.
For Mongarda, wine must clearly express its origin. The defined character of the grape comes from a combination of soil, climate, exposure and vintage — and from working differently. The less intervention in the cellar, the more the territory speaks. Excess manipulation flattens personality. Precision and restraint preserve it.
The hills around Col San Martino — south-facing vineyards, north-facing chestnut forests, steep slopes cultivated generation after generation — shape wines of tension and clarity. Harvest after harvest, Mongarda’s wines reflect this landscape: energy, freshness and identity.
Not decorative Prosecco. Territorial Prosecco.
