Marino Colleoni

Founded by Marino Colleoni on restored historic terraced vineyards on the northern slopes of Montalcino, Podere Santa Maria covers approximately three hectares at nearly 500 meters altitude on soils of volcanic origin. Guided by a philosophy of biological equilibrium and minimal human interference — no chemical herbicides, spontaneous fermentations, limited temperature control and aging in large oak casks — the estate produces wines that emphasize energy, purity of fruit and structural elegance rather than weight or power.
