Il Mortellito

Il Mortellito is Dario Serrentino’s family estate in Val di Noto, between Noto and Pachino, close to the sea and the Vendicari nature reserve. Alongside vineyards, the farm cultivates olive and almond trees.

Dario first vinified the estate’s grapes in 2015. Organic farming and limestone-rich soils shape the wines, while spontaneous fermentation and maturation without oak preserve their fruit and individual character. The approach is straightforward: careful work in the vineyard and restrained intervention in the cellar.
