Cristina Prandi
Cristina Prandi represents the newest generation of a historic Barolo family whose winemaking roots date back to 1856, when Teobaldo Prandi founded the original family winery in the village of Barolo. After decades in which the family continued to care for its vineyards but no longer bottled under the Prandi name, Cristina revived the project with the 2019 vintage, bringing a new voice to this historic legacy. Today she works vineyards in Paiagallo, in Barolo, and Bricco Cogni, in La Morra, focusing on Nebbiolo, spontaneous fermentations and a respectful, low-intervention approach. Her wines mark a new chapter for the Prandi family: deeply rooted in Langhe tradition, yet shaped by the energy and vision of a new generation.
