Cantina Togliana
Rooted in the extreme stone terraces of Carema at the border between Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta, Cantina Togliana is the project of mountain grower Achille Milanesio. Nebbiolo — locally known as Picotendro — grows on narrow terraces supported by traditional topie pergolas on ancient morainic soils rich in alpine gneiss. Entirely manual, with spontaneous fermentations, long macerations, large oak aging and bottling unfiltered at origin. Rigorous, territorial and uncompromising — a new precision-driven chapter in the story of mountain Nebbiolo.
