Cagliari Vermentino

Cagliari Vermentino is a DOC designation covering Vermentino wines produced in the vineyards surrounding the city of Cagliari in southern Sardinia. Compared to the broader Vermentino di Sardegna appellation, Cagliari Vermentino tends to offer a richer, fuller and more structured expression of the grape — shaped by the intense Mediterranean sunshine, warm temperatures and unique soils of the island's southern tip. With greater body and depth while retaining the variety's characteristic freshness and aromatic complexity, it represents one of Sardinia's most distinctive and rewarding white wine expressions.
