Azienda Agricola Petrera Pasquale

Fatalone is the Petrera family’s historic winery on the rocky hills around Gioia del Colle, in Puglia’s Murgia. Its roots reach back to the late nineteenth century, when Nicola Petrera established the family home and vineyards on the hill of Spinomarino.

The family’s first bottled vintage was 1987. Certified organic since 2000, the estate works with its own Primitivo and Greco grapes, maintaining a close connection between vineyard and cellar.

Spontaneous fermentation and bottling without filtration shape an approach focused on expressing the character of the grapes and their place of origin.
