Azienda Agricola Olek Bondonio

Olek Bondonio represents one of the most artisanal interpretations of Barbaresco. The estate, Cascina La Berchialla, dates back to the 1800s and is located in the historic Roncagliette area. After studying agronomy and enology and gaining experience abroad, Olek began bottling his own wines in 2005 from family vineyards.

The winery remains very small, with approximately four hectares under vine. Farming follows a low-intervention philosophy with no chemical herbicides, spontaneous fermentations, long macerations and minimal filtration. The focus is on expressing vineyard identity rather than stylistic manipulation.

Roncagliette is the estate’s reference cru — elegant, structured and deeply territorial.
