TASTING NOTES:
Dark-hued with young, purple-blue hints. On the nose, small wild berries in their ripest form, with distinctive hints of blackberry, characteristic of the grape. Balsamic notes typical of this specific site are also present. On the palate, acidity is the surprise; it is the hallmark of this winery, adding an elegant touch to this robust expression of Italian enology. Juicy berries and black pepper linger in the long finish. Even upon opening an aged bottle, it surprises with a graphite color—deep and impenetrable, typical of this indigenous grape.
