Ebrius - Sangiovese - Toscana Rosso 2020
Azienda Agricola Valle del Sole - Tuscany
The red wine Ebrius, named after the dittany flower depicted, draws inspiration from Umberto Eco's "The Name of the Rose," where it's described as causing intoxication when touched, akin to having drunk wine. This Sangiovese wine boasts an intense ruby red color. Its aroma is complex, featuring notes of red fruits, plums, balsamic, hints of cocoa, and coffee. On the palate, it offers a full-bodied and harmonious experience, with elegant velvety tannins and a long persistence. Ebrius pairs exceptionally well with red meats, game, and stews.
