VINIFICATION:
The wine undergoes a 6-month aging period in Slavonian oak barrels of various sizes, followed by a minimum of 3 months of bottle refinement. The grapes are sourced from vineyards on the hills of Montalcino, at an average altitude of 250 meters, with vines aged between 15 and 20 years. The production process includes intensive extraction in the early stages of fermentation, followed by a medium-length maceration on the skins, with temperatures peaking at 30°C before gradually cooling during the final fermentation.
TASTING NOTES:
This wine features a clear, medium-intensity ruby red color with garnet highlights. The aroma is ethereal and captivating, with notes of plums, tobacco, and a pronounced minerality from the soil. On the palate, it is soft and pleasant, offering an enjoyable drinking experience.
