This Amarone della Valpolicella D.O.C.G - 2018 from Azienda Agricola Tezza in Verona is made of Corvina and Rondinella grapes sourced from the Valpantena valley.

This Amarone exhibits a deep ruby color and offers aromas of cherry jam, vanilla, licorice, and tobacco. On the palate, it is warm, soft, and intensely tannic. It pairs well with grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses.

The harvest takes place in September and October.

VINIFICATION:

The process begins with appassimento, where the grapes undergo drying in a fruit drying facility with controlled low temperature and humidity. Next, vinification takes place through destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by inoculation with selected yeasts. Fermentation occurs with maceration in stainless steel tanks, accompanied by daily pump-overs. Finally, the wine matures for 60 months in our own cellar.

TASTING NOTES:

ORGANOLECTIC CHARACTERISTICS. Deep ruby color, with aromas of cherry jam, vanilla, licorice, and tobacco on the nose. Warm, soft, and intensely tannic on the palate.
