Tenuta di Valgiano - Tuscany
Questo Toscana IGT della Tenuta di Valgiano è un vino fresco e accessibile, perfetto da gustare con gli amici durante un aperitivo. Principalmente realizzato con uve Vermentino e Trebbiano, il processo di vinificazione bianca prevede la pressatura e una breve macerazione (2/3 giorni) sulle bucce. È invecchiato per il 90% in serbatoi di acciaio inossidabile e la parte restante in legno. Successivamente, subisce un ulteriore affinamento in bottiglia per 6 mesi. Si abbina eccellentemente con antipasti a base di pesce, tartare di tonno o pesce spada, o anche con formaggi a pasta dura.

HARVEST:
The grapes are hand-picked in small boxes and carefully sorted on a first selection belt. After destemming, they undergo another round of sorting on a second belt before being delivered into wooden vats for fermentation.
VINIFICATION:
The grapes are manually plunged by foot, ensuring gentle and thorough maceration for 10 to 15 days to extract the aromas and quality tannins. After racking, the wine briefly settles before gravity guides it into lightly toasted French barriques (5% new) for malolactic fermentation. Following 12 months of aging, the wine is transferred to cement vats for an additional 6 months before bottling.
TASTING NOTES:
The wine has a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it presents elegant and delicate aromas of white flowers and fruits, with subtle green notes in the background. The palate is light and very fresh, with a youthful and lively character.
