Il Brunello di Montalcino DOCG La Togata è una testimonianza della selezione naturale in vigna e della meticolosa cura in cantina. Prodotto con uve 100% Sangiovese, questo vino viene affinato in botti di rovere di Slavonia per tre anni, seguito da un ulteriore affinamento in bottiglia. Presenta un colore rosso rubino intenso con riflessi granati e offre un bouquet etereo e complesso. Al palato è potente e corposo, con una struttura robusta e tannini austeri, completati da note morbide di pepe e cuoio. Ideale con carni rosse, formaggi stagionati e salumi tradizionali, questo vino riflette l'eleganza e la longevità delle colline di Montalcino.

VINIFICATION:
The vineyards undergo a double thinning of the grape clusters, and during harvest, an average selection criterion of three clusters out of five is applied in good years. The grapes are further selected in the cellar and processed according to ancient tradition. An intense extraction occurs in the early stages of fermentation, followed by a long maceration on the skins. The maximum temperature is raised to 33°C and maintained at high levels until racking.
TASTING NOTES:
This wine presents a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, showcasing its clarity and brilliance. On the nose, it offers an ethereal bouquet that is both intense and complex. The palate reveals a powerful, full-bodied structure, marked by austere tannins and a smooth texture. The finish is highlighted by distinctive peppery and leathery notes, creating a memorable and elegant experience.
